6 MUST-SEE DESTINATIONS IN MINORI!

Since the time of the ancient Romans, Minori has been chosen as a town in which to spend vacations or, as was the custom among wealthy patricians, to practice “otium”: this is evidenced by the discovery of a maritime villa from the period, which can still be visited today and fascinates all history buffs. In addition, Minori is of the quietest seaside towns on the Amalfi Coast: the historic center, the centerpiece of which is the Basilica of Santa Trofimena, is a short walk from the waterfront, where the world-famous Sal de Riso pastry shop is also located. 2. Sal de Riso pastry shop

Any glutton knows the name of Sal de Riso: a pastry chef from Minori, he has been running his pastry shop since 1989 and in 1994 became the president of AMPI, the Accademia Maestri Pasticceri Italiani (Italian Master Pastry Chefs Academy). His pastry shop is probably the most famous place in all of Minori: right in front of the seafront, here you can enjoy some of the signature desserts of the Amalfi Coast and the Neapolitan tradition, such as the delizia al limone, babà, and chocolate eggplants.
