Furore
1. The Fjord
The Fjord is a natural inlet in the rock, carved by the passage of the Schiato stream. The beach thus created is small but truly picturesque: consisting of white pebbles and overlooked by the State Highway 163 bridge, it is one of the most photographed and popular places for tourists on the Coast.

2. St. Elias's Church
Consisting of a single nave, the church of St. Elias is peculiar because it lacks a proper facade and the entrance is located on the first floor of the bell tower! The interior was enlarged in 1474 when a cross vault was added and a wooden panel depicting the Madonna with Saints Elias and Bartholomew is preserved there.

3. Church of St. James Apostle
The church of St. James dates from the 13th century, on the site of a rock chapel. The façade features a portal surmounted by the figure of St. James in colored majolica; the interior has three naves, divided by columns and round arches, while the bell tower consists of three levels and ends with a majolica pinnacle.

4. The Pellerina Garden
The Pellerina Garden is an urban park overlooking the sea. Not only does it offer an exceptional view but it is also embellished with columns and benches covered with colorful majolica tiles. In addition, on the walls and benches you can find love phrases by famous authors-it is truly a special and romantic place!

5. Marisa Cuomo Winery
Among the most renowned wineries on the Amalfi Coast, Cantine Marisa Cuomo is another pride of the village of Furore. They produce fine wines, including Furore Bianco and Rosso and the famous Fiorduva, a true enological symbol of the Coast! Finally, they offer the possibility of guided tours and tastings for the most passionate. You will find more information in the “Fun facts” box below.
6. The trail of the "Volpe Pescatrice"
Named for the fantastical animal that symbolically represents the inhabitants of Furore, linked to both the land and the sea, the Trail of the Volpe Pescatrice (literally, Trail of the Fishing Fox) is one of the most beautiful hiking trails on the Coast. It connects Piazza del Carmine to the fjord beach with a staircase of about 1,500 steps. If you like walking, you can't miss it: the views are breathtaking and the arrival at the fjord will really blow you away!
